Installing Mezzmo on Windows Server 2008/2012

Some notes to help users install Mezzmo on Windows Server 2008/2012:

• For versions of Mezzmo before v4.1.0.0, make sure you install the Desktop Experience feature in Windows Server 2008/2012, otherwise you will get the 'wmvcore.dll missing' error message when starting Mezzmo. To install Desktop Experience, run Server Manager and go to Features. Desktop Experience is listed as a feature to install. Note: Only required for older versions of Mezzmo (pre v4.1.0.0).
  
• Make sure the following Windows services are not disabled, otherwise the Mezzmo media server will fail to register or run:
  
  
  • DCOM Server Process Launcher
  • Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
  • SSDP Discovery
  • UPnP Device Host
