Problem with 5.1 to Stereo in Sony TV

Hi

I have a Sony W800B TV which only supports stereo audio and whenever I play a 5.1 file through Mezzmo server on my TV the audio doesn't sound normal.
It seems all the audio channels are there but the level of channels are not ok.

Any help would be much appreciated.

can you please tell us which device profile you are using for the TV? It should be the Sony Bravia KDL (2014 Models), you can check this in 'Media Devices' in Mezzmo. The TV should support multi-channel audio in AC3 so possibly Mezzmo is transcoding DTS audio to AC3 and this might be why it sounds different?

My TV model is 42W800B and the Device Profile being used is Sony Bravia KDL W

Please try using the 'Sony Bravia KDL (2014 Models)' profile as the Sony Bravia KDL W is for older models.
