Hello there,
i am using Mezzmo version 2.1.9 Build 128 on my Nvidia Shield pro.
Everything works just fine but when i load more than about 10.000 Clips from my serviio Server into the mezzmo Playlist it does either 2 things:
it just crashes and i have to reopen it again
or it freezes and after a minute there are only 638 Clips left in the Playlist.
Anything i can do or is it a bug i need to wait till its fixed?

The app may be running out of memory when loading 10000 clips. Can you please try splitting the playlist into smaller playlists?
One of my playlists, called TV Shows, has 13,469 episodes in it, and it enumerates just fine on both my Roku Ultra and my nVidia Shield Pro using the Mezzmo apps for each platform. I am using the most current Mezzmo apps for each platform.
This seems like it is going to be a "sender" (Serviio) issue, not a client issue to me.
Thanks for the advice. Splitting them up in 2 Playlists worked quite well. Only issue still happening: using the Random-Button causes a crash of the mezzmo app. This does not sound like an issue from serviio to me.
The Random button will cause the Mezzmo app to shuffle the playlist and if the playlist is very large then the app may run out of memory.
Couldn't this potentially be solved by changing the sort sequence on the server side to random shuffle ? Of course that would apply to all clients and not be something which can be changed by the client.Quote:
