The current version of Mezzmo (v4.1.3.0) extracts the TV series name, season, episode and episode title from TV show video file paths. Then, it look up this TV show on online metadata web sites (www.thetvdb.org) and collects the text metadata & artwork for the episode. The text metadata it collects includes the airdate, which is stored as the Release date in the Properties dialog. So even though it does not get the air date from your video file path, it will collect it from online metadata.
