No contact with DNLA server (mezzmo)

Home network, all machines are win8, mezzmo latest version 3.0.2.9.

When trying to access Mezzmo DNLA server from laptop in home network, VLC sees and plays content fine (except subtitles) from mezzmo server.
MM win8 app does not even see mezzmo server. Conceiva is checking this constellation (mezzmo vs MM win8 app) on their end, suggested I leave a comment here to notify you of issue.

Hope you have a solution, and also I need subtitles to work in order to be able to use at home.

Any reason you are not running the latest version of Mezzmo (v5.0.5.0)? It contains tons of improvements over the old version you are running. Download and install the latest version from www.mezzmo.com. Mezzmo Pro a free upgrade for registered Mezzmo users.
