PS3 Go To/Fast Forward

Hello,

I just switched from PS3 Media Server to Mezzmo and have been happy with the streaming so far, but I have one problem with trying to skip ahead while watching a video. If I use the PS3 'go to' function and select a different time, the video starts from the beginning, but the time index matches the advanced time. Trying to fastforward past 1.5x just freezes (which I expect and was the same in PMS). Is there a way to skip ahead to a specific time index on a video?

So I changed the profile from PS3 (Compatible) to just PS3 and the go to now works. Anyone know the difference between profiles?

The "Compatible" profile will transcode to a different format (and will transcode more files), so I suspect that's the difference in behavior you're seeing. If most/all of your files play using just the plain PS3 profile, then I'd recommend using that. The "Compatible" one is meant to be used when the plain one fails.
