Netgear NeoTV Max (DTS doesn't play need to transcode it)

Hello,

I have a Netgear NeoTV Max and apparently it passes DTS through but contains no encoder so therefore sound is missing from mkv files with dts audio. I am using the NeoTV Max profile, is there a way to force DTS to stereo or something else it supports?

Also my registration key did not work, I have that issue open with support

Hi,
we can supply you with an updated device profile that will transcode the dts audio, or you can go to your device profiles folder (see this thread for its location: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...ofiles-located) and edit the device profile to remove support for dts audio so that it will be transcoded, if you edit the file NetgearNeoTVMax.prf in a text editor and search for:

<audio>
<format id="dts" encode="0">
</format>
</audio>

and remove it for each container then save the file then Mezzmo will transcode dts audio when playing files on the device.
