Is it possible to delete "Backdrop" folder, and disable Mezzmo from re-populating it?

Is it possible to delete the "Backdrop" folder (it's taking a lot of space on my HDD) without otherwise compromising the functioning of Mezzmo?

And once deleted, is it possible to disable Mezzmo from re-downloading the backdrops (how would you do this)?

I am not sure if you can stop Mezzmo from downloading the backdrop files but you can resize them much smaller to take up less space with the streaming options. You can make them as small as 500x500, which will take up 1/8th the space.
