Since downloading the latest version of Mezzmo (2.7.1.0), any video or audio files that I have renamed before putting them in to my Mezzmo library apear on my TV Screen under the original file name instead of the new one.
I would be grateful for any help, please.

Could be that the "file name" is being picked up from the Meta Data in the file? Check out the Meta Data options (Maintain Library, Metadata Retrieval Settings) and run library maintenance to correct.

Mark is right - if you have run Maintain Library after updating, then Mezzmo will use the Metadata Retrieval Settings dialog to locate your preferred metadata for your files' titles, genres, artists, artwork, etc. The Metadata Retrieval Settings dialog is located in the Options dialog (Retrieving Metadata page) or the Maintain Library dialog.
