A new way to capture metadata

I have an iPhone app called MyBoxOffice. It allows me to capture metadata via two methods. The first is to scan the barcode and use it to look up the movies data. (That may be a little tough to do lol).
The second way manually enter info to allow me to look up the title via name etc but also allows me to look up via upc/ean. This is much more exact way of identifying titles. So is there a way that that functionality could be added? Or of course a way to import/export data via csv format.

Thank you for the suggestion - we'll add this in one of the future versions. We'll also consider adding CSV import of metadata on top of the current .xml/.nfo file processing.
