It looks like for version 43, you can disable the signature check, see https://wiki.mozilla.org/Add-ons/Extension_Signing. Go to "about:config" in Firefox (type this into the Firefox address bar) and then look for xpinstall.signatures.required and set it to false.
We have submitted the DownloadStudio extension to Firefox for signing, we are currently waiting for it to be reviewed and signed.
Any updates on the signing approval from Firefox?
We're still waiting on Firefox's approval. They say it can take 10+ days or so, so hopefully it should be soon.
We're now at Firefox 48.0 and the DownloadStudio extension has been disabled; I think Firefox no longer respects the setting of xpinstall.signatures.required
Is Mozilla's approval looking any more likely? Is there a newer version of the extension? Is there a workaround?
Hi,
the DownloadStudio addon in the Firefox store has been signed, please remove the current addon then re-install it from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...refox-integra/
