Roku issues
Hi Peter,
I'm not sure what happened to the email correspondence I had with you, but on my end it disappeared. It was regarding ID:30492
Anyway, the last issues I was having were fixed.
The Roku beta 1.6 fixed the screensaver issues, and the lock screen on my Roku premier+ is working great, screen background now lines up.
I just want to mention that the keypad screen is still messed up on the "search for servers on the network" screen. It's the same as the other issue, background doesn't line up.
Thanks a lot for fixing those issues so quickly,
I'm really liking this software!

Hi Ron,
glad to hear it is working well, we will fix the issue with the keyboard on the search for servers screen.
-
Thanks Peter.
You may already know, but the search screen has the issue as well.
I've got another small issue.
When playing music using my Insignia Roku TV, Once the screensaver activates, the music stops. I've tested different times, etc. And it still happens.
I've tried release version 1.4 and Beta 1.6
and there's no difference.
The interesting thing is, when using The Roku media player (Utilizing Mezzmo as the Server) this doesn't happen. Might be because it uses the stock Roku screensaver.
When testing, I tried my Roku premiere, and it works fine. This leads me to believe it may be a Bug in the Insignia firmware.
Cheers,
Ron

Does the Insignia Roku TV show the Mezzmo screensaver? When playing music an app needs to implement it's own screensaver to avoid the music stopping when the screensaver starts so possibly the Insignia Roku TV handles this differently. We can investigate to see if there is any information available about this.
We will also fix the keyboard on the search screen.

Yes, The Meezmo screensaver.
No matter what I tried, music stopped every time.
Thanks for fixing the search screen.

We have just uploaded an updated beta for the Roku with the keyboard layouts fixed and also with a simulated keypress while playing music to prevent the screensaver activating.
-
I just checked for an update, nothing yet.
Was it an update to 1.6 beta or do I need to request another beta version from Roku?
And just so I'm clear. The screensaver will no longer work while playing music?
Thanks again for fixing the issues so quickly.

It was an update to the 1.6 beta, you could try uninstalling the beta and re-installing it. The simulated keypress will prevent the screensaver from starting so that the music keeps playing.

I Tried deleting and installing again, no luck.
Still shows 1.6 build 0

I tried installing the beta from Roku here and the same problem occurred, I found the problem in the Roku developer console (I forgot to press the publish button). 1.6.1 is now available.
