create your own tv channel

i would love it if there was a way to create my own tv channel using the tv shows i have on my hard drive. so if i have 30 tv shows on my hard drive, but am currently only watching ten of them,then i could add the ten series i am currently watching to the channel (maybe in the form of some kind of playlist) and as i watch each episode, it would maybe remove them from the playlist (or flag it as watched with maybe a big red cross on the thum nail image or something like that?) so i know exactly which episodes of each series we want to watch next. does this make any sense? not sure i have explained myself properly

You could create a smart playlist based on playcount and only show files that have a playcount of 0 in it - then when you play an episode, it won't appear in that playlist.
