Can you check the version of DownloadStudio you have. Go to the 'help' menu and select 'about...'
If you are running version 4.x or older then you will get a message as you have described.
Any user who has purchased DownloadStudio can upgrade free to the latest version. It can be downloaded from our web site and it should upgrade you automatically.
