Roku Streaming Stick 3800x

No matter what i do, I just can't get the Mezzmo app to stream cleanly to these devices. I've largely ignored it, as we have them in only a couple of places where the TVs are not used a whole lot, but it's starting to be a pain for us.

I've tried all the Roku profiles with the devices, but the video is jagged and choppy. We only stream using .mkv files exclusively, and the problem occurs regardless of the resolution or size of the file we're streaming. The wireless network is rock solid, and a TCL Roku TV using the same WiFi network streams flawlessly.

If there's anything I can do to help, let me know, maybe capture headers or something from the device or something, I don't know. It seems like the available profiles are not quite right for the Streaming Stick 3800x.

OK, wait... It looks like transcoding was disabled for these devices. I don't see that the Rokus support .mkv. So... This may be a case of mea culpa.

The Roku format support is very limited so if a file has high bitrate it may not play well on the Roku. Mkv is supported and we have a Roku Streaming Player (Mkv) profile which transcodes to Mkv if a file is not supported.
