thanks for your reply. So i actually have to use manual preencoding on files with embedded subtitles, which should be encoded on the fly (Thats what we need a mediaserver for, i guess)?

Judging from the threads in the last days i think we can assure that it is just not working with embedded subtitles at all - The suggested workaround to export the subtitles before reencoding...
