I am also new to Mezzmo and have a WD TV Live and have the same problem. I have files that will play on the device selecting it as a windows share, but gives me the unsupported file format message...

I'm not sure why Mezzmo would do anything to the file since the WD TV seems perfectly capable of playing it since it works fine when I browse to the share. Anyway, here's what it says:

Thanks Gerald, but it doesn't work. Ran both my .avi files through DivFix++. It created 2, duplicate files, same size exactly. Ran those through Medial Player. Worked great. Ran them on the WD...

Installed Mezzmo yesterday. I've been reading about their own media player. When I play a file within the server, it opens Windows Media Player. Have I misunderstood something?
