That did the trick. Updated to 2.6.7.0, rebooted, deleted my device, and when my device reappered only MKV files are transcoding. Awesome!

I use VOBMerge to build a single MPEG File. VOB files are technically MPEG files. If you rename the VOB file to MPEG it will play without conversion. Google VOBMerge 2.55

Running the latest build and no audio issues. I play either compiled VOB or MPEG-II files. Neither show signs of audio or video problems. MP3 are fine.

Are updates with current subscribers lifetime or do I need to renew after x-days?
