Hope I'm not stealing this thread but the topic got my attention:
I know browsing folders in mezzmo will spin up the drive to look if there are new files inside etc... Would it be possible to add...
Ok, so I assume it's a closed Beta. Hope to get my Hands on the new version soon since I'm having some troubles with the current version (Encoding Performance for Panasonic Viera, Database...
Fun fact: For some Files it is working, for others not. Inside the same Folder! I have a Folder Documentary and inside files other subfolders. The files in the root use the junction-path, all files...
Any news on this? Noticed today after moving a LOT of files around and creating junctions points that mezzmo spent hours recreating all metadata :/
TBH - apart from a strange recording I did with Ngrab years ago everything else is supported by my TV - and Mezzmo wants to transcode 40% of it - i would say. But there a questions:
- There was...
I can't test at the moment, but I would like to know if the profile fixed the Problem. Please report back here, too ;)
I'm having the same problem with my L47E5E Panasonic. And the CPU is not that bad (beeing a E3 Quadcore (with HT) Xeon and 16GB RAM) - but transcoding just hits 100% cpu and is slow at ~20fps....
Seems interesting, I've been talking with Chris about this some time ago by email.

I try to give you an example:

You're right Paul - I didn't know about the way with the ini (since I didn't move my DB) and thought if there is no other way there is this way :)
And there is a way to move the mezzmo database to a different drive (at least for compacting this would be a way and with NTFS drives): Using NTFS Junctions/Hardlinks and linking the Folder to a...
With the newest version my DB was compacted by almost 2GB using the builtin mezzmo database compact, did you try this?
If you don't use them delete the active playlists for actors, directors, year etc...
(I deleted all of them but the active playlist for tv-shows...) no problem at all since then
I didn't remove ALL of them - the active playlist for series remains. With all the actors, directors and everything maybe sqlite performance on the machine is too slow to complete a task in time?
Sorry for doubleposting:
Fixed it without a new playlist. Deleted the dynamic Playlists for Actor, filetypes etc...
This compacted my db (after a compact of course :D) from more than 7gb to...
Holy crap... As mentioned in another thread regarding the permanent task changing playlists... I just opened the database with a SQLite browser - MGOPlaylist has 102341 elements in my database. From...
Ok, will do this.
I created a new DB now and the problem still exists. Changing between 5 and 6 Playlists...
Hi Paul,
Thanks for the info, trying this today. But since all this was done using automatic metadata tagging I think there should be either one of the following things:
- Disable comma splitting...
Ouh, this will hurt - I've done a lot of tagging :(
Hi,
A comma in a TV Show Title will result in 3 Dynamic Playlists:
Title: "Word1 Word2, Word3 Word4"
Playlists will be:
"Word 1 Word2"
"Word 1 Word2, Word3 Word4"
"Word 3, Word4"
Please DONT fix it replacing the old Profiles (the normal and the DTS profile) - this seems more like a problem with some of the 2011 Models. My E5E works flawless with any h264 file I have come...
My DB is 7GB - and database maintenance in the new verions didn't help shrinking that. Would adrian please publish the script or you guys please fix this? The DB growed more than 5GB in the last 2...
I have this error since 2-3 versions ago and have no idea what is causing this. I mentioned it in an support email some time ago and was told to wait for the new version - but it still happens.

Hi Paul,
Thanks, I rebuild my Database completetly today and noticed some strange Things:
- Mezzmo creates dynamicly Playlists for every TV-Show: Thats very nice! BUT: Mezzmo cuts at least the...
Hi Paul,
Yeah I know about Library Maintaining - but this only works for some of the Shows - or even "worse" for newly added episodes of a show it works (including a Show Cover instead of a...
Hi,
I'm using Mezzmo for quite a while now and would like to update the Meta Info for my Movies or to be more specific my TV Shows online. Some new Imports were automaticly filled with a Series...
