So in an attempt to save space while continuing to keep my bluray collection digital I started thinking about transcoding options.
Instead of having all my movies pretranscoded for my TV, PS3 and...
Thanks, Paul. It sounds like Option 3 will be the route I will try later tonight. Thanks!
So lets say I start a movie up with the Mezzmo app on my Android by going to Media and picking the movie. The movie plays fine and I get to the credits so I turn the TV off and go to bed. That is...
Ok. I've always pre-transcoded all my media so I wasn't sure how the on the fly transcoding was handled. I'm starting to run out of space so was just curious.
So if you just let it transcode on the fly, does it cleanup/delete the transcoded file after you stop watching the video?
Ok. Another question. Do I need to pre-transcode the file for the android that I'm using to send the file to Chromecast with or just the Chromecast?
Since I can't get my PS3 to stream movies still, I went out an grabbed a Chromecast dongle hoping for better success. Is there a recommended transcoding setting for Chromecast? When I go to...
I just went ahead and ripped a bluray but only a chapter or two. I've emailed support with the file location and such. Let me know what you find.

Ok so I deleted all my trancoded files for the ps3, changed the slider to the far left and pre-transcoded again. It is still showing bitrate: 5831 kb/s when I look at the transcoded file.
I did...
Ok, so I did what you suggested (deleted the transcoded file, change the slide to the middle, transcoded again) but it is still showing a bitrate of 5831 kb/s on the transcoded file. It seems like...
Anything obvious as to why this isn't working?
Well its happened with 100% of the videos I tried so far so lets just pick one for now.

Hey all, so I have been using Mezzmo for a little while now with my LG TV and it works great. I recently went through and pre-transcoded all the videos for my PS3. I went to watch a movie via my PS3...
