It turns out there was 2 Mezzmo devices on the computer & it took a very long time to load, and both did load after 5 minutes or so. I just didn't wait long enough.
I removed one device & all...

I have the profile "Panasonic Viera (2011 models)", and Mezzmo configured under Transcoding with "Transcode incompatible media...
Paul, my TVs cannot see the Mezzmo server until I run the Mezzmo Windows application.
And I have set this up in 'Media Server Settings'
Task Manager shows Mezzmo Service and Mezzmo Media...
I have Mezzmo configured to load with Windows.
The Mezzmo services do load and start, but the Mezzmo program does not, and I have to start it manually to use DLNA.
Is this a Windows 8/8.1...
Well after all this time Mezzmo is working again.
All I did was upgrade to Windows 8.1, which also updated Windows Media Center.
And suddenly, like magic, my TV's starting talking to Mezzmo!

I just got a network diagnostic software tool and it shows the computer (Mezzmo Server IP) has incoming port 53168 as TIME_WAIT, 127.0.0.1 also as TIME_WAIT, ...

Yes, the TV can access the internet over the wireless connection to the router's USB connected HSPA+ modem. That part works perfectly.
I just noticed that the computer network si designated as "Private", as opposed to "Home".
