I've been using Mezzmo with 4 Sony S370s for about 18 months.
I use the Sony BDP (PAL) profile for all 4 players. I find that gives me the best compatibility and the only files that need...
I've just purchased a HTC One. The above suggestion by Paul works really well on Android. :)
Thanks Paul.

Hi Peter,
I'm also having problems transcoding some (but not all) MP3 files to an iPhone 5 and Ipad 3. I'm using the 8player app on both devices and using Mariia Smeshkova device profile.
Would...
Thanks for this.
I look forward to trying it the next time I reload Windows.
Thanks Paul49,
I'm leaning towards the Topfield.
I'll will also have a Sony BDP sitting under the PVR so the DLNA features are not critical but a nice to have feature. The lack of fast forward...
Thanks for the quick reply Paul.
Thanks for the tip. I'm pretty sure the two models I've listed are both a DLNA player and server.
I'd be interested in anyone else's comments.
I see there's a few PVRs on the market that also come with a DLNA client on board.
The Topfield TRF-2400 and Humax HDR7500T are examples. I think they may also support MKV and MP4 files.
I'm...
Hi Paul,
Will this patch be in the next update of Mezzmo?
I'm also experiencing this problem with all 4 of my Sony BDP-S370 bluray players. All have fixed IPs and I have specified the network...
This has always been the behaviour of my BDP-S370's (I have 4). If I stop a file and restart it, it always resumes play. If I start another file or turn off the device it will always play the...
Well there you go, you learn something new every day.
I'd noticed the * in the file name and just assumed the Sony player put that before every file.
I've just checked and, you're right, some...
Can I also please add a feature request, especially considering you'll be looking at the transcoding stuff soon :)
Is there a chance that when looking at the list of pre-transcoded files that an...
Yep, you need a S480 or higher for DLNA support.
support (at) conceiva (dot) com
Try changing the directory where Mezzmo transcodes the file. By default it is the c drive.
Go to the media server menu then select transcoding settings

Thanks Dennis, that's great news :)
Can I please bring up this feature request again? (not that I need permission - I am anyway :D)
I was helping a friend set up a DLNA server the other day and installed Mezzmo & Serviio, mainly to...
Any update on this one Dennis?
Now with Blu-Ray players getting so cheap it's getting to a point that most people will start putting them in (almost) every room. I know I have just put one in the...
Is it out yet? Is it out yet? :D
Yes, thanks.
All seems to be fine with your amended profile.
Shoot me a PM if you want to revert back to the old version.
I keep all the old versions just in case an update breaks an important feature that I use - as is the case with 2.2.0.0 - it's broken...
Yep, the first think I noticed with the new version of Mezzmo was the inability to FF & RWD with my divx files. This is a killer for me, especially with kids who want to FF to their fav parts of a...
Thanks Dennis.
I only have the one NIC on my PC but I do have a network switch in the roof. Anyway, I have specified the NIC in Mezzmo, rather than leaving it on Auto.
I also reset the settings...
Hi Dennis,
I installed Mezzmo over the Christmas/New Year period, and registered a couple of days ago.
I have 2 Sony BDP-S370's connected.
Initially I could only see one Mezzmo server on the...
I think I may have 2.1.11.0
I bought a Sony Blu-ray player in early Nov and downloaded Mezzmo then. I've just had a look in my recycle bin and can see a mezzmo-setup file dated 5/11.
Hopefully...
