Hmm, I'll check tomorrow, I know that support helped me with the same issue. I think you might need to use the beta Roku player.
I can't comment on UHD as I don't have that capability but the multi channel signal gets transcoded as a 2nd audio channel. You should be able to access it through the Roku options button (*).
Try this thread http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php/7218-Date-Metadata-for-video-files/page2
That would probably be the best option. Maybe a separate folder, at the same tree level, with a similarly modified folder name + extra word?
With the arrival of the Mezzmo Roku app, I'm using it more and more often as it provides a consistent interface across my equipment. It's a great start but I think a couple tweaks would make this a...
1 - There are options to disable artwork. You can uncheck Update artwork on the Maintain dialogue. You can also go into the Metadata Retrieval setting button and disable pulling artwork from the...
Thanks Peter. I didn't realize that it was a global parameter. I was looking for it inside the playlist properties (feature request?).
I'm 99.99% sure I read this before but I can't find the answer by searching or by messing around with my playlists.
I have an active playlist for TV shows that displays by series and then...
I tried it back in March with limited success -- Audio and pictures worked fine but I had to pre-transcode my video files. Pre-transcode was required because my home video files frame-rate were more...
There are several options for reading metadata from external files. I'm sure there are other threads but the below may be a good start. The downside of this solution (for me at least) is that it...
The top level Mezzmo Video folder & my Home Movies folder had Home movies display set to %TITLE%. The subfolders (under Home Movies) that hold the actual VOB files has the display titles button is...
Paul... the ingestion of the .nfo data works fine. The problem is that the category tag value used by the display titles dialogue doesn't match.
Here's an the .nfo file is used for one of my VOB...
Hate to resurrect a problem solved post, but... I think I found a bug. I stumbled on this when I was creating .nfo files for some of my DVD rips (.VOB) where the file name Vts_01_1.vob couldn't be...
Thanks Paul. I wasn't aware of the checkbox. As a consideration for an enhancement -- I think it would make more sense to include this as a config option under the active playlist. That takes care...
I installed the patch and set the playlist's sort to Release Date (descending). It didn't help. The individual photos have release dates but month subfolders have no release date associated with...
Thanks Paul. The patch and then the v4.0.5 update both worked.
I don't see 'Release Date' as an option? The only date related options that I see are Year or Created Date.
Looking at the default 'Year' active playlist. It groups all the photos by year and then by month within the year. Sorting by year works as expected but the months are ordered alphabetically rather...
Paul, for the most part it works. I thought I had all options checked in one of the tests, but I must not have. This time I made sure that I had the 'Get text metadata and artwork from XBMC...
Still can't get this to work.
- I installed the new patch for reading metadata from external files.
- I created 2 test nfo files and placed them in the same directory as the files

Paul / Coises - thanks for the replies.
I did try to find examples of movie.xml and/or mymovies.xml. Not a lot of details. But I thought I'd wing it and see if I could make it work (it didn't)....
Ok, so that cleared up the problem with funky names and weird dates on my Home Videos. But I still have a couple problems with that solutions. The first is that now Mezzmo doesn't have any info in...
I'm still working through v4 issues. I'm trying to figure out how Mezzmo determines the dates of my home video files. To make sure that I didn't have any artifacts of my old database, I deleted the...
Hi Paul. I changed the display title for both Home Movies and Videos to use %FILENAME%. I see no change in the main mezzmo screen but when I go to play them, the titles are correct on the device...
Something happened when I upgraded from v4.0.2 to v4.0.3, and I lost all my metadata. I'm assuming this caused Mezzmo to take it upon itself to re-determine titles for all my videos. My home movie...
