Looks like I got it figured out by removing the items that show up empty on my DirecTV receivers from the Mezzmo library. Then I set up regular and smart playlists instead.
Currently using TVersity Pro v1.8 Beta as it is the last version that supports DirecTV receivers. I am considering replacing it with the Mezzmo product. So, trying out the v3.0.2 version in Trial...
