A quick update:
The solution works with my Samsung C TV and is relatively quick. The trick is predicting where I was in the movie. At least, I can now bounce to the middle and FF/RW from there.

I just sent you an email with a snapshot of the last 7 videos. It suggests the Samsung is writing to the MGODeviceBookmark table, but my other player -- a WDLive TV -- is not. I have proven that...
I looked at the table and doesn't contain the movie I'm currently watching or the one before it. The movie before that is in the table and is the newest entry. As a test, I just started a movie and...
I have an old Samsung C series TV that doesn’t support chapters, but does support resume (using the “D” key on the remote).
Quite often — especially after a server reboot or restarting the Mezzmo...
Paul, is this still the case? I need to export the Mezzmo file inventory. Thanks
***Edit***
I answered my own question. Yes, a SQL browser allows me to view and export the tables. I used "DB...
Hello,
Is there any way to modify the %LASTPLAYEDDATE% keyword? Right now it is YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss. I would like the flexibility to change the date format and eliminate the time (e.g. MM-DD-YY)....
I maintained the database and the unneeded categories are gone. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for the quick response Peter. Yeah, I did that before posting the question. Do I need to pack the database to remove them?
Hello,
I have a few categories on the dropdown list that are no longer needed. How do I remove them?
Thanks
I would prefer a "move" command on the Right-Click context menu.
1. Highlight file(s).
2. Right-click, select "Move"
3. Playlist list pops up
4. Select target playlist
5. Click OK
Most...
Hello,
I want to move a number of movies from one playlist to another. Is there a move command? Up until now, I've been dragging/dropping movies on top of the new playlist -- which leaves me with...
Greetings,
I have a new job that requires me to travel a lot, so I am interested in streaming video from my home Mezzmo server to the hotel room. I understand how to configure Mezzmo and router to...
Hi Peter,
I removed DCM10 from GenericDeviceDescriptionSamsung.xml and, so far, everything is working correctly. The dwell time for NAS spin-up from a low power state doesn't error the TV (with...
As expected, the Samsung C profile causes a timeout error while waiting for my NAS drive to wake up. The issue is in the associated XML files -- and there is a difference.

Peter,
The Samsung C compatible profile is required to fix a NAS spin-up error when it awakes from a low power state. I will try the standard C profile as requested, but it will cause a different...
Paul -- it happened again last night. I sent you a link to the logs, since they were too big to email. Please let me know what you find. Thanks
Hello,
I didn't see anything on the forum about this, so here's what's happening. I have a Samsung Series C TV using the Series C compatible profile in Mezzmo. Since upgrading to Mezzmo 5, my TV...
Is there any way to remove the leading zeros in %SEASON% and %EPISODE% ?
I would like display titles to serve out the exact number, instead of padding it with leading zeros (consumes valuable...
I upgraded to v5 last night and see the lowest value is still 10% -- which equates to 12 minutes on an average movie. I need a more granular value to ensure the "last played" list updates after 3-5...
Thanks Paul,
I discovered that last night when testing videos of different lengths. The smaller the file, the quicker the server updates. I watch videos in short bursts (due to kids) and want them...
Paul,
Some of the movies I play do not show up on the last 5 played list. While troubleshooting, I noticed the "Last Played" and play Count info is not updating in the Mezzmo app. How long do I...
Thanks Paul!
Unrelated -- I'll try to find/send the Samsung Series C/sleeping network NAS fix today.
I apologize if this is redundant, but I didn't see a post about this.
Is there a filter that can display the last 5 movies played?
Thanks
Thanks Paul. When looking at the logs, please focus on the NAS delay problem. The sluggishness I originally reported, seems to be fixed.
Hi Paul,
Better late than never, right? Now that NFL season is over, I won't travel for a while. Since September, I have upgraded Mezzmo to v4.1.3.0 and it, too, has the same problem. I captured...
