Thanks Peter, I'll collect some new logs & send them your way.
I still suspect this is due to some changes caused by the July windows updates. I uninstalled the .Net update & the other windows...
Hey Peter,
I think I considered this solved too soon. I haven't reattached the problematic client to the network and I'm still seeing ever increasing CPU usage as originally described. While the...
If any other user comes across this thread, my original thought that this change was triggered by something in a Windows update was incorrect. Mezzmo support staff took a look at my logs &...
Of course, a link to the logs has been sent to the email provided. Thanks!
Hi Peter, Thank you for the prompt reply & suggestions. I've been troubleshooting this and I suspect this issue is caused by one of the following windows updates as the issue didn't began after...
Hello,
I'm running Mezzmo 5.2.0.0 as a service in a Windows Server 2019 (1809) VM. Everything is operating fine, I can stream media, maintain library, etc. However, after the media server...
Worked like a charm! Thank you.
I'm moving my install to new hardware and after restoring the database I'm not seeing the video previews in the web interface. Is the preview data stored in the *.bif or *.mzt located at...
The 2nd device profile you sent along has resolve the issue. Thanks as always for the great support!
Thank you for the reply. I have replaced the device profile with the new one provided, stopping the media server, closing the GUI, replacing the file, then reopening the GUI & starting the server. ...
Hello,
I recently updated my install of Mezzmo to version 5.2.0.0 from 5.1.1.0. After the update, m4a audio files are treated as video files by the BubbleUPnP Android app which I use as the audio...
Is there any documentation available relating to creating a new mezzmo plugin?
If you haven't changed anything, I suspect the Mezzmo service is running under the "Local System" account on your laptop. I would guess that it is launching FFmpeg with the same account. I would...
Thanks Paul! Logs have been sent. I recall PowerDVD 14 working without issue. However, I gave the PowerDVD 14 trial a go many months ago so my recollection may not be accurate.
Hi Paul,
I am unable to get Folder and Album artwork to display when connecting to Mezzmo v4.1.3.43 using Cyberlink PowerDVD 15 on a Win7 pc. I have selected Cyberlink PowerDVD as the device...
In Kodi there is an "Add All To Queue" option. You select the option when viewing the node with the episodes you want to watch. When one video finishes it will move onto the next. I keep hoping...
There's an option in Mezzmo where you can add a number to the start of a file name. While unattractive, this will keep the sorting in Kodi correct.
If I remember correctly there is a "Display...
You only need to add the Mezzmo server as a upnp source to Kodi. Kodi provides the steps at http://kodi.wiki/view/UPnP/Media_source. Works like a charm for me.
Hi Paul,
Additional logs have been sent via email.
Thanks
Using 41337, videos are now transcoding & the transcoded stream delivered to the playback device. Playback quality varies but I suspect that's mostly due to the cpu capabilities of the hardware...
Tested the patch, video properties can now be read but transcoding fails. Details & logs sent via email. Thanks
I'll give a patch a try, email sent. Thanks!
Edit Below:
Simply dropping the ?dlna from the HDHomeRun url will allow the HDHomeRun to respond as a upnp device which is not bound to the strict...
Paul,
Silicondust support responded with the following:
You may view the thread I created with them at https://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=21402. They seem to be of the...
Thanks Paul. I'll follow up with Silicon Dust & see what they say. In the interim, is there any way I can manually add a stream address to my Mezzmo library? Or are you aware of any way to adjust...
