yes like you said, i have always managed with srt subs and i see you now have a feature to extract the srt subs from the embedded movie which looks useful but at the moment it isnt working with srt...

checking through some different files and it now seems that only avi videos work with only srt subs. no other combination seems to work. wasnt always like this, what has changed?
seems like subtitles wont work on .mkv files and also any embedded subs wont work either. any ideas ho to solve?
