Thread: Downloading From Hulu

    Default Downloading From Hulu

I'm having a hard time understanding how DownloadStudio works is there anyway to download a whole season of something from Hulu. For instance can I download the whole 30 episode season of "The Big Valley" from Hulu and then stream it via Mezzmo?

If you start DownloadStudio URL Sniffer and then in your browser play each video in turn of the series you will get the urls appearing in the DownloadStudio URL sniffer results, you can filter this by 'Video' type and see the urls for the videos. If these are http:// links you can download them with DownloadStudio and then when each download completes you can add them to mezzmo for streaming.

Ok the first time I tried running URL Sniffer it displayed quite a few URLs but I clicked Clear URL List (not knowing what I was doing) and ever since then even though it says it has found URLs it doesn't display them no matter what page or site I go to. How do I get it to display them again?

If you have one of the filter options enabled this will hide urls, check the right-hand pane "Filter URLs" and uncheck all items and remove any text from the search field.

Nothing is checked and it still does not display any URLs even though it's showing it's finding them.

It is possible that you have a space character in the search text field, try deleting everything from the search text (click in the search text field and press delete and backspace a couple of times) and see if the urls appear.

Peter that worked but I guess I'm not smart enough to figure out how to download a tv episode from Hulu none of the URLs I grab will work all you get is a snapshot of the Hulu player but not one that actually works.

When I try to view hulu I get the error that it can only be viewed within the United States, so I'm unable to test it, but from what I can see of Google searches it looks like they are using the rtmp protocol for their video streaming and DownloadStudio cannot currently download rtmp streams.
