Default Mezzmo giving invalid media error.

    Hello Everyone,

I am getting a unique error. The files i am using are in MKV format, normally h265. This is a recent thing, it was not an issue before. I convert my files and move them over to the server, when i add them, they are listed within mezzmo as an invalid media being found. to provide an example, The File is named "S01x01 - Example.mkv". i will get the invalid media error. However if i had a "(1)" or misspelling of the title it will pick up the file without issue. "S01x01 - Example (1).mkv" will be picked up but the first example will not. i have never had issues with this before and do not know what is causing this. I am currently using a dedicated pc, windows 7 64bit. 8gb memory and the ffmpge file is the 64bit one. the cpu is an intel i5. thank you in advance for any help or insight on this matter.

"added" I have everything in separate directories. The Movies section is working fine and standard Tv directories as well. It seems to be only occurring in the kid section directory that i have.

Please send us a set of logs and we will know what's happening. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?id=using_logging) and restart your Mezzmo (Windows) app. Now replicate the error you mention by adding a new MKV file. When you get the error, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo (Windows) app. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

After some troubleshooting and investigative help from Paul, we were able to resolve the issue. The issue was being caused with a conflict in regards to directories (folders) not updating correctly due to my inadvertent unchecking of one critical option within mezzmo. always make sure the circled item is actively checked to make sure that mezzmo updates accordingly and removes conflicts. The option is wthin maintain library. The check mark for playlist/folder should always be active. hopefully the screenshot appears. screeshot.jpg
