Default Transcode (Crop + Stretch) 3D Files to 2D

Hi, i can't find any existing information on the topic, but I am wondering, if it is possible to crop and stretch a 3D File HSBS or HOU for example when streaming to a TV that does not support 3D.
I am using Mezzmo Pro 6.x on Windows. My 3D Files are correctly marked as HSBS or HOU in the video tab.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

3D video files will not have their 3D features removed by Mezzmo (when streaming or via transcoding). If your endpoint device (e.g. TV) does not viewing options for 3D, then you may have to use a program like Handbrake to prepare the 3D video as a 2D video prior to adding it into Mezzmo for streaming. A quick search on web the should help you - for example, see this forum topic: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/...deo-*-mkv-file.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

Then this should be transferred to feature requests. I also have 3D enabled devices in my house, and do not want to strip the second perspective from the original file and don't think it should be necessary to have 2 versions of the same movie saved.
For the transcoder it should be easy to crop + stretch if it knows the source 3D format of the video, should'n it? And an extra option in the device profile for 3D support could inform the transcoder if this is necessary.
I'd really think this would be a great feature to be implemented

    Thanks,
    Thomas
