Default How do I get 5.1 audio

I have a sony bravo KDLHX800 TV and video files in H.264 format that's from "Dolby AC-3/6" audio material. I can see is Mezzmo that it's audio codec is listed as aac. These always stream in 2 channel audio. Is there a way to change that? How can I even tell for sure whether the 6 channel audio info is even in the file? If it is, what governs whether it's streamed or not?

    Thanks

Can you please post FFmpeg information on one of those files (in Mezzmo right-click on the file and use the "Get FFmpeg Information" command) - we can then see what the file is and how it should be delivered to the TV.
