    Default Change Folder structure

Just trialing Mezzmo as it's one of the few I can get to intergrate into my network (client and server in different vlans)

Is there a way I can change the folder structure which is presented to the app which runs on a Samsung TV.

Currently when I load the app and go into

    server --> video

I get 15 auto generated folders - is there anyway to clean this up and remove them so I just get the one named folder?

    Cheers

    Pete

    Hi Pete,
you can delete all the default playlists in Mezzmo and just add a folder containing your files by selecting 'Add Folder' from the Add To Library menu on the toolbar. http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?id=adding_folders&s[]=add&s[]=folder

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

Hi, thats great thanks for that, worked perfectly.

    2 other things,

Is it possible to change the size of the text used to show the names of the folders/files?
Are there any issues with running it permanantly off-line if all I want to do is use it to stream local media, are there any licensing issues like it needs to 'phone home' every so often?

    Thanks

    Pete

What I did, rather than deleting the default playlists is to set the permissions on the playlists that I didn't want to see, and then not add any devices to them. That seemed more elegant to me than just outright deleting them.

Mezzmo never needs to phone home except to check for updates so running permanently off-line should not create any problems. It is not possible to change the size of the text showing names of folders/files.

Cheers for that - already deleted them but I'll bear that in mind, didnt realise there were permissions you could apply.

The cool part about the permissions is that you can base them on different things.

So here is a link to the wiki on the playlist/folder permissions. If you don't have perms to access it, you won't even see the folder/playlist.

Here is a link to the wiki on the "parental controls".
