Default Recorded audio "processed" but file not save

My older version of Download Studio on XP was working fine, but today I updated to ver. 5.2.1.0. Now it behaves as it always did when recording audio from a website, but after "processing" the file (mp3), it doesn't save the file in the specified directory--in fact, not anywhere on my computer that I can find (I used XP's search feature). I tried the process several times, but to no avail. When I click on "Recent Documents" in the Windows navigation panel, the name of the mp3 file is listed, but when I select the name, I get an error message, as if the file name was created but the file itself has been deleted. Can anyone help? Why isn't DS saving these files? Thanks.

The current version of DownloadStudio is 10.0.4.0. Please try updating to this latest version.
