Default file naming conventions for best online recognition

    Hello,

i am trying to determine the right file naming conventions for movies, TV series, cartoons, feature films, anime etc. to get the best automatic recognition on the remote services for title detection and metadata download (full title, episode plot, cover etc), minimizing the need for manual corrections.
Maybe there is a guide about this?

For example, the contents enclosed between square brackets are ignored or not?
    What about round brackets?
Where is the right place for the "year" information? Year is very important in case of homonyms.
For series enumeration, which one is better: 1x01 or S01E01?
How many databases are queried? And what are they? can the list and the parsing order be edited?
Can the file name parsing rules be edited (ex. changing a REGEX)?

    Thank you.

    Thank you!
Maybe there is a tag i can use to exclude some parts of the filename (ex. source, codecs, languages, subtitles and whatever information i need to include in the filename) in order to not pass them on the online identification?

It is not possible to use a tag to exclude parts of the filename. Mezzmo does remove junk words from the filename to find the important parts of the title and year for movies.
