Question Is there an API to populate/update the Mezzmo Database ?

Is there any kind of API (REST, SOAP, ...) to populate the Mezzmo DB? I currently use Excel to capture the data for new videos from my virtual video recorder and update the Mezzmo DB with those data. That works pretty nice, but I'm running into a couple of issues that require manual intervention:
    1. Adding a NEW video to Mezzmo: For that, I manually have to navigate in Mezzmo to the folder containing the new video and forcing Mezzmo to create the initial record in the DB. Later then, I can run a batch run to update that record (identified via the file name).
    2. Adding Poster and Backdrop images - Also this activity require manual intervention for NEW images (and some existing ones): If an image is not yet existing in the Mezzmo DB, I have to open the properties of the respective video manually in Mezzmo and add the respective image (Poster / Backdrop). Once an image is added, I can automatically add it to other video records (e.g. for episodes in a series that uses the same images), although sometimes, that update fails (I'm still debugging).

My Mezzmo DB contains currently 21488 videos, something that is hard to manage manually, so an automatic way using some kind of API would be very helpful.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
