Thread: Problem with DB restore

    Default Problem with DB restore

I'm moving my current Mezzmo install to a new computer and have backed up the existing 6.0.6.0 DB.

When restoring this DB to a fresh 6.0.6.0 install, it seems to restore ok but when I run Mezzmo I get this -

Mezzmo runs, but just has the standard new install Music-Videos-Photos playlists and none of mine.

Is there some setting I've missed for restore?

    Thanks.

    Hi,
this message is shown when there is a problem with the Mezzmo database. The backup file may be corrupt or inaccessible to Mezzmo. Please check the permissions on the file to make sure it is accessible to the Mezzmo application. You can also try creating a new backup to see if this works.

Default Problem with DB restore - Fixed

Good call. There was a difference in permissions between the backup file and the files created when the new Mezzmo was installed. Although both the old and new systems were logged in with the same admin-level user. It was that user that was missing from the backup file.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
