Default What is "path to the server's description document"? Trying to manually add server

I am trying to manually add the remote server to my Mezzmo app. I get the IP address and port thing but what are we looking for when it says "path to the server's description document"?

I am not 100% sure on the Mezzmo app but from the Mezzmo Kodi addon I grab the following:

    http://192.168.0.34:53168/desc

Just change the IP address to your server IP. That might work. You can try it from a browser and see the Mezzmo server XML response with all of the information about the server and the services it offers.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

    Jeff,

Thanks for the post. My trouble isn't streaming inside the home. Everything works great there.

My problem is streaming with the Mezzmo App, outside my home, in this case at my office.

I am able to access it via web browser using <http://74.xx.xx.x:xxxxx/web/login?user=xxxxx> so I know that my network is set up correctly.

However, when I go to the Mezzmo app on my phone at work I just get <Failed to add server:http://74.xx.xx.xx:xxxxx/desc>. It doesn't matter if I am on cell data or the WiFi.

I guess, I am wondering what the "desc" portion is. Is there a file labelled "desc" somewhere that I can't find?

Ahh, got it. That's a question for Peter.
