    Hi there,

I own an Archos 70 Internet Tablet as well and I face the same problem. Are there any news on this topic? The Archos 70 is the only device which is switched back to "UnknownDevice" after reconnecting to Mezzmo. When I switch it by hand to Archos 7 Profil Mezzmo lets me play my videos quite well but after a while itīs being resetted within Mezzmo...

Does the Archos change IPs from time to time by any chance?

Yes it does. I also use it with a portable WLAN HotSpot so i prefer to keep the DHCP setting enabled. But also if i set a fix IP adress Mezzmo looses the information about the tablet. To avoid this problem i use a second media server which handles the tablet quite well. But that's a little bit annoying :-(
Today i installed the new Mezzmo version. Are there any improvements? (didn't have the time to check yet :-) )

Yes, several. Check out this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...-available-now!

One of the next updates will allow assigning a device profile to a MAC, instead of IP, so that should take care of that hopefully.

Do you mean the problem where device profiles were resetting? That should be fixed if you only use the IP address to identify it (and it's statically assigned to the tablet). Or is it something else?

Just a device profile. Currently no profiles work with it. And media errors out.

I thought the Generic one was working (or Archos 7)?

It use too. Doesn't seem to be working atm. I thought it might be the new firmware they release. So I downgraded back to old and same problem. Just gives a media error.
