I have a series of GoPro videos (1080p, ~44k bitrate, 59.94 fps, audio - ~126 kbps, 2ch stereo, 48 khz) that I have marked in the Transcoding tab of the properties to use the original file as the preferred format. The Media Device settings are for "Roku Streaming Player" using the default performance settings (100 Mbps, 1080p without "Maximum video size" checked). When I first set the video to prefer the original file, it plays fine. Subsequent attempts result in attempts to transcode the file to hls,h264,aac format. This transcoding always fails. If I go back to the file properties, delete all preferences and re-select "Use Original File," the file will stream to the Roku again until the next time I want to play it. Transcoding to Matroska and mov, etc. often fail or will not play. I am using the Mezzmo for Roku app on my Roku devices. Any suggestions on how to get the Mezzmo/Roku to play the original files without constant intervention by me or Mezzmo's automatic attempts to transcode?
