Mezzmo Channels Updates

Version 2.0.5, of the Mezzmo Movie Trailers Channel 2, has been published. This is a bug fix
and feature update to address a couple of minor issues and add automatic yt-dlp.exe updating.


You can download the Mezzmo Movie Trailers 2 Channel version 2.0.5 here.

Upgrade instructions for the client software can be found here. There are no changes to the
server software in this release. Note the additional configuration file setting for limiting
the number of trailers per category to fetch during each run.


Version 2.0.5 updates

• Updated yt-dlp.exe to eliminate warning messages
• Added automatic yt-dlp.exe update checking/updating to the latest version
• Added automatic deletion of artwork, along with trailer files, when maximum number of trailers
to keep is reached. Previously just the trailer files were automatically deleted.
• Added automatic logfile pruning to keep it from growing beyond 16,000 lines.
• Fixed bug where trailers were being deleted when they were below the maximum amount to
keep per category
• Added setting to limit the maximum number of new trailers per category to fetch per run

Version 1.0.5 updates

• Fixed a bug where the Airing Today and Currently Airing TV Show categories were not
honoring the configuration trailer keep limit setting.
• Fixed a bug where an exception error would occur if a trailer file being deleted, during
the limit checking, didn't exist on disk and had a non-ASCII character in the file name
which couldn't be encoded by the local computer code page. This would cause the
number of trailers to exceed the config file limit setting.

Python versions have identical functionality and commands.
