The video file plays alright on my computer but in mezzmo I try to play it and it says invalid media found.

It may be that the file contains newer codecs that Mezzmo's ffmpeg libraries do not support.

Can you provide the codec information for the media files which are showing Invalid ? MediaInfo is my preferred tool to use for this.
