Default Profile for Samsung S95B and LG LQ6830

Hello, I have been happily using Mezzmo for years, now I just bought two new TVs and I don't know which Profile I should use.

    QE55S95BATXZT (Samsung OLED S95B 55")
    32LQ63806LC (LG LQ6830 32")

I am currenty using "Samsung N (No DTS)" for the first one and "LG TV (2015 models)" for the second.
I can tell they are not the correct ones, because they do a lot of unnecessary Transcoding, because Mezzmo does not know exactly which formats are really supported by the TV... so I had to turn Transcoding off, and most of my files are played correctly.
The problem is that in the few instances where the format is really not supported by the TV, the transcoding is not done.

Thanks in advance for the support.

You can pre-transcode files that do not play without transcoding and this will allow you to keep transcoding off so that most of your files play without transcoding.

    Thanks for the reply.

But if I wanted to generate the correct profile for my TV model, let's say I make a copy of an existing profile and try to modify it, do you think it's doable by trial and error or it's too complicated?
Is there some kind of documentation that can help in this endeavor?

Yes, you can make a copy of the profiles you are currently using and create a new GUID at the top of each file as this is how Mezzmo uniquely identifies each profile. Turn on transcoding and try playing some files, if you find a file that you think should be played without transcoding you can delete the transcoded file from the properties of the file in Mezzmo on the Transcoding tab then select to Use Original file and see if it plays. If it does then you can get ffmpeg information of the file from the right click menu and look for the container name in the profile. then add the codec for video and audio if it is not already there or adjust the properties of the codecs if they are already there to include the file.
