Thread: Movie database

    Default Movie database

    I saw a number of posts about the movie database not labeling the movies anymore? (I probably have language wrong )Is that still a thing? Beside making individual .nfo files by hand are there options? Was there an update to correct. A third party company one can subscribe to? Some kind of reverse meta update by having kodi do it then backtrack to mezzo? I found a number of post and was confused what the final outcome was if any was found?

    This post has the specifics:

    You need to do 3 things to get thigns working:

    1. Get patch from Mezzmo by E-mail at: support@conceiva.com for version 6.0.7.23 or higher. 6.0.7.25 is current.
    2. Get a TMDB API key here
    3. The value API_KEY= should be placed in the General section of the MezzmoMediaServer.ini file with the TMDB API key

    Thanks,

    Jeff

    I can confirm that this works. This isn't an issue with Mezzmo. It's an issue with TMDB's change of the way that they handle things.

    How long does it take to reply? Worried I did something wrong with the message…send it last Thursday and haven’t heard back.

    Peter is generally pretty quick about responding. Maybe something happened with the E-mail. He should see your message here.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

    Hello, unfortunately don't get an email back either. I am actually only waiting for the patch for Mezzo.
    Email went to support@conceva.com with the request for the current update. I already have the API key.
    And sorry for the bad English Greetings Visas

    I received the patch. How do I use it? I tried clicking on the files and nothing worked except for a bunch of errors? Do I need to install it in a certain location or something?

    Here's the standard set of instructions from Peter on installing patches:

    ================================================== ==================

    You will need to:
    1. Open Mezzmo and stop your Mezzmo media server then exit Mezzmo
    2. Extract the zip file to the folder where you installed Mezzmo
    3. Open Mezzmo and start your Mezzmo media server

    Best regards

    Peter

    ================================================== ==================

    The standard location for a Mezzmo installation is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Conceiva\Mezzmo\

    Yours may be different.

    Thanks,

    Jeff
