Thread: feedback/questions

    Default feedback/questions

I'm using mezzmo as a media center for my PS3 and would like to give you some feedback/questions

I copied a lot of images from cd backup to my PC for mezzmo's use. The created dates on these images were changed by windows. I would like to have an option to have mezzmo use the modified date to broadcast the dates of files.

Is it possible to change media server icon that shows up on the PS3 for mezzmo. Currently its the mezzmo logo. I see the ablity to change the Media server name but not the logo.

Is there a reset db or clean db option. Before I found the "watched folders" I was rescanning the share folder and this duplicated a lot video files. I did not see an option to check / remove duplicate items.

Is there a backup database option. Lets say I get everything setup permissions / album art etc and need to format my OS, will I have to recreate everything?

I'll mark it down for the development team to discuss and possibly include as an option.

Not presently, but it will be possible with the upcoming update.

Yes, such functionality will be available in the upcoming update.

You can backup the database and all permissions/album art by backing up a file named Mezzmo.db. It will be located in the Public Documents folder, if you're on Vista it's:

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Conceiva\Mezzmo

    and on XP it's:

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Conceiva\Mezzmo

Let me know if you have further questions or suggestions.

Yes, you can manually replace the LargeIcon.jpg/.png and SmallIcon.jpg/.png located one level below the DeviceProfiles folder (see this thread for its location: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...ofiles-located).
