    Default Vido stops on HR21

the WMV files are coded as 720p, they start to play on the Directv HR21 but choppy then just fails back to the menu after 1 minute or so..tested in WIndows media player and the stream is fine? I have Mezzmo running in a VM on windows 2008 with 4 cpu's assigned and 4GB ram..but I watched the resources and never fo about 50%..as well as it streams fine to a windows media PC...

WMV files have to be transcoded for the HR21, so I suspect that transcoding is not fast enough. What's the actual hardware CPU that you have?

Can you please turn on logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) then try to play that file again and once it starts to stutter, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) conceiva (dot) com - we'll then know what's wrong for sure.

If you can send in the logs, we'll check out current transcoding speed and see if it's enough for smooth playback or not. It's also possible that suttering occurs because of a poor wireless signal, if you're on a wireless network (or if you have Wireless B/G for example and you're trying to stream a high-def movie over it). Is your network wired or wireless?
