Default Sony BDV-E370 not displaying album covers

    Hi,

I first used Mezzmo with my new Sony KDL ex503 TV and it played/displayed Album covers from my iTunes.

I've now added a Sony blu-ray AV home theatre system (BDV-E370) which will play my iTunes but not display the album covers.

I've tried two profiles, Sony BDP (pal) and Sony home theatre (pal). I also deleted the KDL TV from Mezzmo.

The album artwork does display on Mezzmo and I'm connecting to the AV using a Sony USB dongle (transferred from the TV).

I could just leave the dongle in the TV but lose some functionality offered by the AV.

    Ideas/help appreciated.

    cheers,

    Hi,

It's possible that the device just doesn't support album covers - we found that some Sony BDPs do not display album art at the moment (maybe they will after a future firmware update?). Have you tried any other DLNA server and if you did, were there album covers?

    Thanks Dennis,

I tried Servillo, but couldnt get it to work with iTunes (I tried several profiles, and the Sony BDP could see it but only play MP3's).

Using Mezzmo I can navigate to the albums fine and play the music so I can live without the album covers for now.

I'm currently using the trial version of Mezzmo, and providing it doesn't fall over I will purchase it.

    Cheers,
