The biggest use of Playon for me is the ability to use scripts. There is also some nice functionality they are currently having in beta.

I agree...Mezzmo would be Incredible to support URL/RSS streams. It is polished for local content and allows playing files natively if supported without transcoding.

I tried Playon for streaming content by dlna and liked it, but TRANSCODES EVERYTHING and thus does not allow HD streaming for youtube for example. Mezzmo is polished in this area, by allowing files to be sent natively to the device.
