Default dowload files always in text mode

I try to download from rapid share or hotfile and when I paste in the urls it always shows type as text. Thus the down load is always a"firefox document"

Maybe I need help in going with firefox to a web page, copying a list of files and have them download as compressed or rar files.

I have tried scrapbook, click monitoring, and add jobs and I always get text as file type

Please help -I have only 24 days on my 30 day a money back offer and I have not been able to download any files.
    Peace!

You need to log in to rapidshare and hotfile in Firefox and then exit Firefox so that the cookies are flushed to disk. Then when you paste urls from rapidshare or hotfile DownloadStudio will be able to find your login cookie in Firefox's cookie jar.

Hotfile download pages have the form of http://hotfile.com/dl/91223638/4ed13....XviD.avi.html, if you try to download this with DownloadStudio you will get just html each time. The actual download link is contained on that page in the ‘click here to download’:

    http://hotfile.com/get/91223638/4d3e....HDTV.XviD.avi

it has the form of http://hotfile.com/get followed by the hash id of the file, then some other id that is different for the html page and the download link. So if you add a link like this to DownloadStudio then the file will be downloaded correctly.
