    Default Mezzmo High CPU Utilisation

    Hi,

I've just installed Mezzmo on Windows Server 2008 R2. I have the 15 day trial.

The problem is that even with the Media Server not running I am running close to 100% CPU. I have 3 system tasks in Mezzmo showing unprocessed files:
System Task Getting photo thumbnails: 14,965 file remaining
System Task Getting music lyrics: 5 files remaining
System Task Getting album artwork: 7,932 file remaining

I have logging enabled but it does not seem to point to 1 particular file.

I have no transcoding running at the moment.

If I start the Media Server the Mezzmo application and the Media Server share 100% CPU roughly 50:50

    Any ideas much appreciated.

My cpu was running 100% when mezzmo search for my files...
When it was done it slowed down to under 5%, this with a pentium d 3ghz.
I turned of transcoding as it again went to 100% even on files that did'nt need it.

So, let the system task ends & it should be fine.

Yes I understand that when you first install it has a lot to process but:

    1) The Files remaining have not reduced on the System Tasks for 10 hours

    2) The CPU has been close to 100% for 10 hours solid

Is it normal for the file remaining to remain static since the lyrics load did count down for quite a while.

How long do I have to leave it running at 100% cpu?

    Have no answer to that....

I loaded aprox 500 gb in 1-2 hours.

I performed a complete un-install including the database and a clean install.
Mezzmo crashed after it had loaded 1000 files but once it restarted it loaded my complete library and cpu utilisation is now normal.

Must have been a corrupt install.
