    Default Htpc with Atom CPU

I understand that Mezzmo will work on the dual core intel Atom based Htpc mini systems such as Acer Revo, zotac zbox or Asus Eee. However, on the fly transcoding may not work properly due to the low power CPU. Has anyone used these devices, did they stream OK? Could they transcode on the fly at all? I want a standalone pc (out of site behind the TV) to just run mezzmo and also have the ability to surf the net from my couch

Streaming will work ok, but Atom CPUs are generally almost twice as underpowered compared to your "normal" ones, so transcoding on an Atom can be sluggish (and of course no real-time 720p+ transcoding).
